Who We Are
Jeff Massey - Dealer Principal
Jeff Massey has owned Morton’s BMW since 1979, when he and his brother purchased the company from their uncle, William Morton, the company’s founder. Jeff has traveled the world for both business and pleasure; at home, rides a variety of bikes in our inventory. He has a fondness for GS and RT models, and he’s completed CLASS track sessions and off-road training.
Donna Whitlock - Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant
Donna Whitlock came to us after a career in the local school system. She’s a welcome addition, helping with the mountain of paperwork a small business generates and, while not a rider yet, she’s definitely thinking about it!
Motorcycle Sales Department
Ed Medina - Certified Motorcycle Salesperson
Ed Medina joined the Morton’s BMW staff after being a customer for many years. After a career in law enforcement, he worked at a couple of other motorcycle dealerships before joining our crew. He’s a member of BMW MOA and BMW Bikers of Metropolitan Washington and rides an F 800 GS and an F 650 GS single.
Jimmy Zell - Certified Motorcycle Salesperson
Motorcycle salesman Jimmy Zell is the newest member of our crew, but he’s been a customer of Morton’s BMW longer than almost anyone here. He’s ridden BMWs for 50 years, starting with a 1969 R50/2 he bought from William Morton, the founder of the company. He’s tracked various bikes over 17 years with VIR being his favorite course. He currently owns a 2016 R1200GS, 2019 F750GS, and a 2012 S1000RR. After a career in mortgage banking, he’s honored to carry on the tradition of extending outstanding service to Morton’s BMW customers. He brings his passion and experience to the job and is looking forward to meeting new and previous riders. Stop by and say hello!

Service Department
Andy Shaw - Certified BMW Service Manager
Andy Shaw, originally from Woodbridge, Virginia, is a graduate of BMW’s STEP instructional program for technicians and worked at a dealership in Pennsylvania before coming home to Virginia. He served as a Certified BMW Technician for us until previous Service Manager Stuart Beatson retired. Andy rides a Buell 1125R and enjoys track days. He’s also a certified MSF instructor, and hopes to do some teaching in the area.
Tarron Williams - Certified Service Advisor
Tarron was a military brat born in Germany, and he’s been a motorsports enthusiast for more than 30 years. He races and participates in SCCA events throughout the region; Summit Point, West Virginia, well known to our sport riders, is his favorite track and he also travels annually to Deal’s Gap. Tarron spent a dozen years as an assistant service manager in the automotive industry before joining the service team at Morton’s BMW. While his pride and joy is his modified Scion FR-S, his love for all things mechanical has him scouting out bikes and MSF course dates.
Mamie Frank - Certified Level III BMW Technician
Originally from North Carolina, Mamie Frank came to us from the BMW curriculum at MMI, where she graduated at the top of her BMW class. She also finished near the top of the entire student body, regardless of the powersports focus. When not working, she divides her riding time between a Yamaha R6 and an R1 project bike, which she has completely rebuilt (she’s also certified for Yamaha!). She’s also recently taken up with a street legal, 2016 Yamaha R3 track bike.
Jaeger MacGlade - BMW Technician
Jaeger is the newest member of our award-winning service team. A rider since 1988 and a former enduro racer, he graduated from MMI in 1996 and joins us after many years at both independent and other-brand franchised dealerships. He has an appreciation for vintage machines, as evidenced by his 1974 Norton 850 Commando, a trio of 1970s-era Harley-Davidson 350 Sprints, and — as he puts it — an ’85 Harley “Stupid” Glide.
Billy Morgan - Certified BMW Warranty Administrator
Billy Morgan, Jr. is a life member of the American Motorcyclist Association, and has been riding on two wheels for more than 42 years. He’s our setup tech and warranty administrator so, if you’ve bought a new BMW from us lately, he probably put it together for you or handled any warranty claims you might have had. His daily ride is a BMW R 1200 RT, and he can also be found on his KTM 300XC when he goes home to South Hill, Virginia.
